Hello Classy People,
Berker‘s styling journey continues shinning among the Turkish Fashion industry and worldwide. From editorials to music video clips, he has touched them all.
Different from what the majority has to offer, Berker’s work attracts more artists and more attention. It is intriguing and provokes the curiosity of the audience, which is one of the goals regarding each public figure.
His new work with Asya Gashi reflects originality and a celebration of cultures. We love diversity and energies that create an ambiance to gather different people to worship a variety of styles.
In a conversation with Berker, he opens up about working with Asya and says that he saw her free spirit when he met her. She was up to the character that he would create for her, which excited him.
Once he got to know her, it was easier for him to create the looks. From the Dior swimsuit to the pink over the knees boots look, Berker’s inspiration is by Paris Hilton 2007 era and the dominant fashion concept by other pop culture legends like Britney and Xtina.
Berker explains that he creates different characters with each project using pieces of fabric and that his looks upgrades when he works with more creative direction and fair productions.
It is so hard to choose a favorite look from Asya’s project because each one represents different personas even tho Berker is using the same style and aesthetic.
He also admits having a preference for the black swimsuit and the black cowboy pants look!
Most of the pieces are from Hakan Akkaya’s Latest New York Fashion collection, and Berker’s styling vision is by Christina Aguilera’s Dirrty music video.
We have asked Berker which look he would have added to the list if the video clip was longer, so he said a glam look.
He actually had one more from Hakan Akkaya’s New York Fashion Week collection, but the shooting was wrapped with the previous looks.
We concluded our conversation by talking about the working conditions and atmosphere, and Berker was happy to say that he worked with most of the team members in previous projects, so it was fun.
