Greetings Classy People,

She was walking in the streets of Marrakesh, heading back home from work, when she spotted a woman sitting in front of a box filled with buttons of different sizes, shapes, colors, and materials.
Since her creations are known for being originally different, Mina Binebine decided to buy the stock of buttons from the woman without knowing how to use them.
Time is the wisest source of inspiration. Later, Mina started working on her collection ECLOSION, and she decided to cover every single piece with buttons.
ECLOSION was her fortunate door to enter PARIS FASHION WEEK in 2022.

Mina grew up immersed in traditional Moroccan fashion, particularly when attending weddings, and she cherished every aspect.
She later moved to the West, first to Europe and then to Los Angeles, where she spent about a decade exploring Western culture.
Eventually, she returned to her homeland and pursued a career as a fashion designer, aiming to blend her experiences with different cultures to create unique clothing.

Despite considering blazers her favorite fashion garment, Mina became famous for making corsets, the popular feminine garments in ancient Europe, and adding a Moroccan hint, whether through embroidery or other details.
Mina’s top choices for making clothes are gabardine, cashmere, and silk. She states that the feeling of the texture when in contact with our skin is priceless. When it comes to colors, she doesn’t favor one over another because each one offers a certain vibe.

She emphasizes simplicity when describing her style. Mina usually dresses elegantly for events and opts most of the time for a casual outfit.
In real life, a fashion designer doesn’t necessarily fit the stereotypical character seen in movies, but she wears quality fabrics and pays attention to her appearance.

Moroccan clients make up the largest portion of her customer base, and everyone, including herself, adores the Moroccan style to add uniqueness to their closets. Diversity elevates each one’s fashion game and brings a sense of pride as it contributes to the country’s economy.

Mina Binebine’s store is open in Marrakesh, where people can have a physical fashion experience, from trying out clothes to shopping.
She is also strongly present at international fashion events to introduce her collections or to find different sources of inspiration.
